About Gavin Thorn LSWPP

I am a Guildford based professional photographer covering London and Surrey. I have a real passion for photographing people whether it be in a studio or out on location and this inspired me to to launch QTPortraits.com to explore this field of photography back in 2009. Having done so, I’ve never looked back since.

My speciality is people photography. I have a huge thirst for fashion photography, advertising and portraiture and this has led me to undertake more work in the fields of model portfolios, actors headshots and band promo/press kit images. I work very closely with a model agency in London which has given me a wealth of experience working with all types of people from complete novices to successful high fashion models and designers from London and New York Fashion Week.

But it doesn’t end there. I was professionally trained by three holders of Photographer of the Year and one of Britain’s leading fashion photographers. My work has been published internationally in books, magazines and cards, as well as being used for advertisements and even shop displays.

Gavin is also a Licentiate of the SWPP.
